Application Support Engineer Lead

JOB SUMMARY Lteam of Application Support Engineers supporting various lines of business. Provide management, technical expertise and coordination to manage support and implementation activities of the team. As assigned, lor assist in the planning, implementation, and introduction of projects for new systems and technologies. Ensure service delivery for incidents and tasks are within the established SLArsquos. Define, refine support structure for all applications and establish service delivery models as needed. FUNDAMENTAL JOB TASKS Establish and maintain proper support documentation and training. Engage multiple teams to help define, prioritize, and implement enhancements and improvements across a number of applications. Prioritizes own and teamrsquos work. Anticipates consequences of actions, potential problems, or opportunities for change. Part of a core team that is exposed to many different technologies, legacy and new, in the day to day operations of Stater Bros. Markets. Participate in Design Committee, provide technical expertise and contribute design considerations for large and small projects. Track, monitor and report progress on all support activities for the team (Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management etc.) Consult business analyst and business relationship managers on client feedback and needs to guide planning upgrades and new features. Manage, motivate and mentor the support team to grow their skills and careers. Coordinate as part of a team to design, program, test, and implement application software per system specifications and within project timelines and budget. Write accurate and detailed user documentation for developed or implemented software application systems. Assist the team in development of functional skills, technical skills and experience. Support for production applications. (Requires on-call coverage and occasional after-hours support). Perform other job-related functions as assigned. EDUCATION EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or other Bachelorrsquos degree with equivalent combination of formal education and related experience. Minimum of Twelve (12) yearsrsquo experience in supporting and leading support teams(software applications) Applicable Skills with Must possess excellent business analysis and project management skills, and the ability to handle day to day direction of multiple applications. Must have experience in leading teams supporting large application software systems Must have experience as lor in that capacity, led large enterprise projects and support. Must have solid understanding of the Retail environment encompassing Retail Operations (POS), Distribution, Merchandising, Warehousing and Logistics. Must have enterprise application support experience such as ERP, CRM, WMS, WFM, EAM Must have Application Development experience Must be proficient in developing and supporting one or more tools ndash Crystal (Business Objects) Enterprise, Visual Studio Team Suite, IBM CM, CMOD, Kofax, Talend, SSIS Must have Enterprise integration experience (middleware) Must have experience with ITIL or any other service delivery frameworks Mobile, Web Development, EDI, DevOps ndash Nice to have Strong structured systems analysis and design experience. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain of a variety of internal business relationships must be able to interface with colleagues up to senior-level executives Excellent research, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Strong organization and communication skills.
