Job Title: IT Support Specialist
Location: Pacifica
Compensation: $100-125k

Our client is looking for a self-directed individual to be the main point of contact for client support and be responsible for the internal network of the organization. In this position you will support their global installation of their software (remotely and on-prem) as well as working closely with their development team to identify and resolve any technical problems that might arise during the deployment and use of their software. You’ll need to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, be hardworking, bold, ambitious, and analytical to thrive in this position.
Detailed Job Description:

  • Travel to (or do remotely) customer locations for installation, upgrades, and device configuration as needed
  • Deliver network implementation and remediation projects to meet demands
  • Identify, diagnose and resolve network problem, analyze root cause
  • Install, maintain and upgrade network hardware, software, and operating systems
  • Report network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information
  • Secure network system by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring
  • Field calls and emails from customers
  • Diagnose, replicate, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams as needed
  • Communicate status of issues and projects to customers and colleagues
  • Document issues and resolutions clearly via email and Salesforce
  • Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles
  • Test new versions of software and file QA reports
  • Assist with brainstorming and testing efforts during software development phases

Qualifications:
Lead and/or managerial experience required to mentor junior IT team
5+ years of IT support experience3+ years of experience managing O365 and AWS/Azure3+ years of Network Infrastructure experience – including routers, switches, firewalls
• Exchange Online and SharePoint Online
• Confident with Apple Devices and Mac operating system
• CompTIA A+ certification

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrable people skills and clear communications ability (verbal and written)
  • “Can Do” attitude and team player
  • Experience in a support, software testing, or help desk environment
