The Project Manager is key in overseeing the process of getting a clinical trial up and running. To be successful, the Project Manager will be detail oriented, accountable and proactive.The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects for research. Our Project Managers start projects from initial concept through final implementation. This includes defining project scope and objectives, developing work plans, acquiring resources, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to deadlines and within budget. The Project Manager will have a background in and through understanding of the research process, compliance, policy and regulatory environment.Our Project Managers serve as the functional and direct liaison between leadership, physicians, staff and sponsors to ensure successful completion of all processes as required for start-up of clinical trials for Scripps Clinical Research Services programs. The Project Manager will be able to independently manage these projects. The Project Manager should be able to correctly identify and prioritize issues in matter of urgency and identify who is most capable of doing tasks within a complex multi project environment.This is a full time position, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:* BS or BA in research OR 4 years of experience in progressively responsible research related projects in lieu of degree.* Clinical or academic research related work experience.* Experience leading and facilitating projects, with superior facilitation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.* Proficiency with: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and SharePoint, project management software.Required Certification/Registration:* PMP OR similar certification required obtained within 1 year of hire.Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:* Master’s degree. Experience within a multi-facility health care system.* Contract and Budget Analyst Experience* CCRC
