ERP Developer / Business Analyst

Position Description, Qualifications & Desired Experience: Job Description: The ERP Developer / Business Analyst performs business analysis, systems analysis, project management, and application support. Requires deep business and technical knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP), warehouse management systems (WMS), and electronic data interchange (EDI) in a manufacturing and distribution environment. The person will be responsible for troubleshooting system problems, security administration, and database maintenance. Manage and communicate maintenance schedules, manage interface to and from other systems, perform upgrades, help desk support any other duties as assigned by department manager. Support 400 users in a leading manufacturer and distributor of beauty, skin care, and personal care products. This position provides flexible hours and an opportunity to be a part of a strong IT team. Responsibilities: Develop Epicor BAQs, BPMs, UD fields, dashboards, forms, reports, and customizations to maximize the utilization of Epicor. Work closely with the ERP team in design, implementation and execution of Epicor business processes. Daily interaction with ERP system users responding to support tickets. Immediate resolution of issues creating obstacles to productivity. Assess and manage user needs for dashboards and reports. Suggest process improvements where inefficient processes or activities may be occurring develop and present solutions to the ERP team members. Train users, as needed, to support a high level of competency across the organization. Maintain and improve upon user training and work instruction documentation. Participate in ad-hoc or special projects as required. Provide front line support of ERP and WMS applications. Document findings and recommendations, select software and integration partners, and prepare budgets and timelines. Provide on-call after hours production systems support as needed. Modify system processes as necessary to enhance/improve system functionality and based on a specification created by supervisor May assist with supporting Business Information Software, ranging from evaluating a software problem, to training the user community on utilizing the Information System to achieve maximum benefit. Writes and maintains documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections. Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about programs. Monitors performance of programs after implementation. Must be able to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, and be willing to put forth the effort required to resolve problems to ensure system integrity. Required Qualifications: BS in Computer Science or related field. Significant experience may be considered in lieu of degree; and 5 years of experience supporting ERP, WMS and EDI processes in a manufacturing/ distribution environment, Experience on Web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript., Server Side technologies like Java and C#. Experience on Epicor10 BAQs, Customizations and BPMs in Epicor software using C#, LINQ, and SQL. Strong analytical and MS Excel skills with pivot tables, macros, formulas etc. Excellent verbal & written communication skills Ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization Salary depends on experience.
