Software Engineer (Magento) Overview of Position This Senior Engineer must be an experienced, skilled, and hands-on developer who will drive and lead the realization of the Change Healthcare Marketplace e-Commerce experience within the Change Healthcare Marketplace team.

As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for liaising with the design team, working on Magento sites on Adobe eCommerce (Cloud), building modules and customizing extensions, testing the performance of each site, and maintaining security and feature updates.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, cloud-based or Internet-related computer programs.

Code may be used in commercial or end-user applications, such as materials management, financial management, HRIS, mobile apps or desktop applications products.

Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications.

Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.

May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

 What are the requirements needed for this position?

4 years of experience with Magento Building and configuring eCommerce websites on Magento e-commerce (cloud).

Coding of the Magento templates.

Developing Magento modules in PHP using best practices.

Knowledge of Magento Commerce cloud architecture including Fastly, New Relic, Blackfire, Sendgrid Java, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, CSS, and MySQL.

Knowledge of Composer Experience with complete eCommerce lifecycle development.

Understanding of modern UI/UX trends.

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

Knowledge Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Designing themes and interfaces.

Setting performance tasks and goals.

Troubleshooting integration issues.

Updating website features and security patches.
