There is a quickly growing accounting team looking for a candidate to join them who is interested in great career growth potential and a great benefits package.

If you are able to enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, you are a good fit for this position.

Candidates who are self-starters and who have high attention to detail will be the best fit for this Accounts Receivable Clerk position, since they will handle 200+ invoices a week.

This is a long-term temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk position and is based in the Salinas, California area.nn nn nn nnWhat you get to do every single daynn nn nn nnMust have experience using Famous software
– must have nn nn nn nn
– Verify codes and documentsnn nn nn nn
– Locate delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g.

skip-tracing, phone contact, written correspondence, and make arrangements for paymentnn nn nn nn
– Process payments and compile segments of annual reports and monthly closings in compliance with GAAPnn nn nn nn
– Present information, as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stakeholdersnn nn nn nn
– Balance bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in a number of different ledgersnn nn nn nn
– Represent and exude the values, culture, and mission of the organizationnn nn nn nn
– Execute a range of foundational accounting tasks in agreement with normal procedures, including general accounting tasksnn nn nn nn
– Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plansnn n n Job Requirements: n nn
– 2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivablenn nn nn nnMust have experience using Famous software
– must have nn nn nn nn
– Proven analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policynn nn nn nn
– Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environmentnn nn nn nn
– Reliable skills in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skillsnn nn nn nn
– Proficient in ERP systemsnn nn nn nn
– Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)nn nn nn nn
