Marketing Manager

Longi Solar

MARKETING MANAGER, USA LONGi Group is a vertically integrated solar market leader.

It is the world’s largest monocrystalline solar materials manufacturer.

The company’s technology position and financial health are highly regarded in the industry.

We are currently expanding our global marketing teams and we are looking for cornerstone talent to join our platform.

Reporting to the General Manager of the US office, the ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing our marketing strategy.

The main focus areas are: (1) Marketing implementation of LONGi’s brand in monocrystalline silicon module, distribution channels development and fostering relationships among corporate accounts that have renewable energy interests.; and (2) Co-Marketing of US Distribution channels.

Prior marketing experience in monocrystalline silicon modules is required.

You will lead our marketing campaigns in the US, evaluate our marketing performance metrics, and collaborate with internal teams.

You will have a strong marketing background with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

(1) Marketing implementation of LONGi Solar brand 1.1 Define the Marketing strategy in US to support and deliver the business objectives; 1.2 Define the segmentation, target audience, product positioning and customise Sales and Marketing presentations to drive sales; 1.3 Develop marketing materials and drive activation to meet the buisness objectives in terms of volume, revenue and brand preference; 1.4 Reinforce LONGi Solar brand and product messaging in solar conferences; 1.5 Develop the annual marketing budget, guide the shape-of-spend and track implementation of the marketing activities.

Refine quarterly to align with market requirements.

1.6 Cultivate local media contacts (at minimum 3 local media in each key country) to reinforce LONGi brand messaging in the local markets 1.7 Identify and evaluate local marketing events to support sales and the company’s business plan in the local countries.

1.8 Assist in the execution of large-scale exhibitions and events in US 1.9 Interface with local solar associations and industry forums to obtain professional knowledge for business opportunities (2) Co-Marketing of US Distribution channels 2.1 Working closely with US Sales and technical Marketing teams – develop the co-marketing plan and execute the activities with US distribution customers in order to deliver the annual business and revenue targets.

2.2 Ensure all co-marketing activities are aligned to LONGi brand guidelines, messaging and agreed budget 2.3 Conduct regular contacts and customer face-to-face visits (at minimum once every quarter) to understand customer marketing requirements, establish long-term partnerships and refine the marketing plans.


Establish efficient work process and communications with LONGi Marketing team members and Product Management teams.

2.5 Develop market opportunities through identifying, understanding and reaching target customers 2.6 Continually update Market Strategy and competitive actions through understanding of market intelligence and actively implement marketing actions: Product, Price, Distribution, Promotions.

2.7 Prepare quarterly business review reports and presentations to Management JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related field Minimum 5 years of previous experience with similar marketing development roles in solar business; Understand USA’s PV market dynamics and industry trend; Solid understanding of the silicon, solar, storage and energy industries.

Able to travel and represent the company at industry events around the world.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external partners.

Organized and able to prioritize and manage competing project priorities and deadlines.

Marketing management experience and capable of working with a diversified team with different culture and in multiple locations; Ability to work under pressure and able to manage conflicts and ambiguities Highly organized and fluent with O365.

Strong program management skills a plus.
