JOEY Restaurants first came to California in Woodland Hills in 2015, and in 2019 was joined by JOEY DTLA. Now, we are thrilled to bring The JOEY Restaurant Group to Manhattan Beach. Opening in February 2021, JOEY Manhattan Beach will be nestled in the heart of Manhattan Village, a newly redesigned indoor-outdoor community showcasing the sophisticated casual charm of Manhattan Beach. With this expansion, comes the opportunity to invite new talent to join our team. We are looking for the best and brightest individuals to join a remarkable team of culinary leaders and restaurateurs to continue the JOEY Restaurant legacy in California. While these recent months have brought many unknowns to the hospitality industry, during this period, the JOEY Restaurant Group has continued to provide iconic hospitality to our guests through delivery, take-out business, and full patio service. Our Team is Virtually Interviewing for Hosts and Hostesses, what we refer to as Guest Services: As a Guest Service Team Member At JOEY * It starts and ends with you. Determine the flow of people by playing a key role in pacing the seating of guests. Orchestrate timely turns and keep calm under pressure to make sure every guest leaves happy. Requirements Education and experience * 1+ years hospitality experience in a guest facing role. * You are a leader and mentor. Others look up to you. * Experience working in a fast-paced environment. * Proven track record of creating world-class experiences. Competencies * You are genuine, warm and caring. * A strong passion to succeed and the willingness to learn and be coached by others. * A natural problem solver with an insatiable desire to impact performance. * Exceptional relationship building and communication skills. * Able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment. * Humility coupled with a good sense of humour.
