This is a Contract position in Mountain View, CA posted November 15, 2020.

To receive, store, manage, inventory, copy and distribute all materiel that is processed throughout the Supply Chain Department of El Camino Hospital.Under general supervision, the Supply Chain Technician 1 provides support in performing the supply functions relating to inventory, ordering, receiving, distribution, and storage of medical surgical materials and supplies.

The Supply Chain Technician 1 will actively participate in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.Responsibilities Able to follow directions and perform basic inventory supply tech functions.

Receives incoming supplies from Shipping and Receiving, Vendors, General Stores, and or Central Distribution.Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum 1 year experience working in a Central Supply or Distribution area.

Minimum 1 years working with a computerized inventory management system Ability to read and understand labels and follow verbal and written instructions.

Ability to follow standard work, strong organizational and time management skills, professionalism, and the ability to work with minimal supervision, computer literacy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under stress and within time limits.This is an enterprise position.

Will be expected, as needed, to accept work assignments across departments or El Camino Hospital campuses (Mountain View and Los Gatos) or locations within a 15-mile radius.

Position is all shifts and must work at both campuses.The Physical Requirements and Working Conditions of this job are available.
