The Nursing Supervisor is a Registered Nurse responsible for the operation of the clinical activities of the Wound Care Centers including Hyperbaric Oxygen. Functions in a leadership role contributing to the efficient and effective operations of the service. Under the supervision of the System Director and in collaboration with the Medical Director, responsible for coordination of the clinical services of the center and HBO to provide consistent quality care for patients with wounds in the outpatient setting. Maintains clinical competency and utilizes the nursing process when carrying out clinical duties. Collaborates closely with physicians, outpatient and inpatient health care professionals and Wound Care Center Staff. Responsibilities include utilization of skills in organization, leadership, planning, implementation, evaluating and providing care of adult and geriatric clients. Is a role model for all in the patient centered care delivery framework. Possess strong organizational skills and be able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask. Prepare monthly reports with attention to detail.
