JOB SUMMARYThe Spectrum Sr.

National Account Manager is responsible for dedicated account management of National Spectrum Authorized Partners within the Retail channel.

Provides oversight and support to protect/grow revenues by proactively managing the day-to-day relationship of assigned National Spectrum Authorized Partners to maximize sales opportunities.

Develops/executes new business verticals and partnerships to improve market share within the Authorized Partner program.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProspect and onboard targeted national partners.

Required to conduct business development analysis regularly and close top partners to increase new business revenue and gain better market share in the industry.

Responsible to work closely with corporate team to build a proper strategy, operations and support plan to execute with assigned Spectrum Authorized Partners.Meet or exceed assigned KPI metrics including, but not limited to revenue goals, sales quotas, product mix, churn, etc.Provide high level of account management to ensure Authorized Partner has the training, tools, merchandise and support needed to be successful.Conduct regularly scheduled meetings and account reviews with assigned Authorized Partners ensuring they are selling Spectrum, meeting their targets and are current on all products, services, promotions, etc.

Partner closely with the stakeholders/decision makers, from assigned and prospecting accounts, to create and manage growth plans.Work cross functionally with our corporate operations, strategy and divisional teams to ensure alignment with the companies/department objectives.Serve as company expert on product knowledge/mix, coverage footprint and pricing related to Charter’s competitors and complementors.

Act as Authorized Partner’s voice internally to properly report successful initiatives as well as opportunities including sales impact factors, operational challenges, etc.Ensure that Authorized Partners staff is trained on sales promotions, rate changes and order entry process, etc.Develop go-to-market enterprise wide business strategies to execute favorable cost per acquisition models while enhancing Charter’s presence within the authorized partner space.

Coordinate and assist with special events in stores/call centers, arranging promotional offer, overseeing set-up and staffing.Perform additional duties as requested by supervisorREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSSkills/Abilities and KnowledgeAbility to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional mannerSecond language (Spanish) is preferredAbility to establish rapport with partners in senior positionsAbility to negotiate and close national business contracts Ability to prioritize and organize effectivelyExcellent oral and written communications skillsAbility to develop and make formal presentations to assigned partners; externally and internallyAbility to work with others to resolve problems, handle requests or situationsAbility to work independentlyAbility to use personal computer and software applicationsEducationCollege degree in sales and/or marketing, or equivalent experienceRelated Work Experience10 years: Industry specific experience in cable, internet, telephone, and mobile products5 years: Account Management5 years: Authorized Partner sales experience (preferred)1 year: Call Center experience (preferred)Certifications and/or LicensesValid driver’s license and carWORKING CONDITIONSApproximately 75% of time spent in partner locationsSome weekend and evening workOvernight Travel Required
