THE TEAM:

The Zenni IT team is the backbone of the business, making sure the website and IT infrastructure is available 24/7 for our millions of customers. We work with every department to ensure our site is robust and easy to use. We also ensure accurate data is fed to various marketing, analytical, and fulfillment systems, allowing other teams to make data-driven decisions related to promotions and campaigns.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for managing, tracking and facilitating the projects and tasks that are presented to the Information Technology Department. Projects and tasks could involve cross-departmental work, lead by this role to ensure the timely delivery of the request. Day to day work will consist of working directly with the Marketing and Product Merchandise teams along with IT Software Product Managers to gather information regarding on going or new requests.

This position will initially be remote but will be based at Zenni’s corporate office in Marin County (Novato, CA) after shelter in place orders are lifted.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provide a project schedule / calendar to identify when each task will be performed.
* Schedule IT resources and works with other PMs to assess project and task priorities.
* Project coordination/tracking of jobs via JIRA, Smartsheet and other collaboration tools.
* Working with the Development project manager and Software Product mangers to ensure schedule are up to date.
* Work with both IT and Business to resolve unforeseen issues related to capacity or urgency.
* Collaborate with team leaders to set clear expectations for tasks and deliverables, provide timely feedback, information. and direction to internal and external teams while diplomatically managing expectations.
* Collaborate with team leaders to ensure expectations are managed with regard to scope, progress, schedule and budget.
* Track and follow-up on project deliverables, issues and dependencies.
* Seek to clarify or confirm accuracy and understanding of individual’s request/message.

REQUIREMENTS:

The candidate must have experience working as a technical Project manager with experience for the planning, coordination and supervision of IT solutions projects in the fields of custom software development, web-based enterprise applications, client-server applications, mobile applications and enterprise management systems; and for associated functions involving the creation of project plans that incorporate detailed specifications of scheduling, resource, quality metrics and organizational requirements.

* 5+ years of relevant experience.
* Experience as a technical project manager, with a proven ability to effectively meet deliverable expectations and deadlines.
* Previous experience with operational workflows that require managing tracking documentation.
* Basic understanding of software development practices and techniques.
* Proven written and verbal skills.
* A track record of delivering work in a fast-paced atmosphere.
* Excellent oral and written communications skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Self-motivated, proactive and proven ability to adapt well and work with different teams within organization.
